Newly released emails from the US Department of Justice’s Jeffrey Epstein files suggest the convicted sex offender invited a man thought to be Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor to dinner with a 26-year-old Russian woman back in 2010.

The messages, exchanged in August of that year, were signed with “A” and what looks like “HRH Duke of York KG,” pointing to the former royal. This came just a month after Epstein finished serving time for his 2008 guilty plea to soliciting a minor in Florida.

In the emails, Epstein tells “The Duke” that he might like meeting the woman while she’s in London, describing her as “26, russian, clevere beautiful, trustworthy.” The recipient responds that he’d be in Geneva until the 22nd but would love to see her, asking if she’s bringing a message and for her contact details. He also inquires about any other useful info on her.

These revelations are likely to ramp up the spotlight on Mountbatten-Windsor, who’s been under fire for years over his ties to Epstein. He’s faced claims, which he strongly denies, of sexually assaulting Virginia Giuffre as a teen after she was trafficked by Epstein. In 2022, he settled a civil suit with Giuffre for millions, despite saying he’d never met her.

Mountbatten-Windsor has always maintained he didn’t witness or suspect any of Epstein’s criminal behavior that led to his arrest. Reporters reached out to him for a statement on this latest development, but he hasn’t responded. The emails haven’t been independently confirmed.

This comes as part of a huge dump of over three million pages from the Epstein investigation, including other details like Epstein sending 10,000 pounds to the partner of a British politician. The files continue to expose Epstein’s network and raise questions about accountability among his associates.
